We made it back to the Old Town. We are staying in the same La Quinta that, five years ago tomorrow, my family was almost kicked out of for the raucous after-wedding party they threw in the breakfast area. Yup, tomorrow is our fifth wedding anniversary. I believe the fifth anniversary is the "shirk all parenting responsibilities so I can finish my degree" anniversary isn't it?

Why yes, I believe it is, and you're celebrating it in style.
Happy Anniversary!
LOL - did you plan that? Happy anniversary and good luck tomorrow!! (it is your defense day, right? or am I on crack?)
Are you still going to be here on Saturday? It sure would be fun to shirk out parenting responsibilities together at the park while our children frolic and swing.
What a great way to celebrate your anniversary! Once you are done defending, you can party!
Oh, and I can't believe it has been five years. AJU5 found one of the pencils from your wedding a few months ago in a purse (and I hadn't seen the pencil since your wedding).
Happy Anniversary, and good luck.
Also, Wesley has the best hair ever.
Oh my...I had an excellent time..the van ride both ways aw hysterical!!!
I had soooooooooooooooo much fun!! Has it been that long???
My favorite memories were the next morning when you found all those room keys in your bra, Caroline, and when we were eating breakfast and housekeeping dragged that huge lobby ficus plant out of my parents' room!
Happy anniversary! GOOD LUCK!
I just came out of the public part of Becca's defense, and she did really well with her presentation. The questions she got were intelligent, and she had some good responses.
She's in there now with just her committee; I'm sure she'll have plenty to say about it in the next post!
